    It's Showtime: A Guide to TPE 2020

Set to take over Las Vegas from Jan. 29-31, 2020, Tobacco Plus Expo (TPE) has transformed over the years along with the tobacco, vapor and alternative industries. While there are plenty of opportunities throughout the year for retailers to interact with manufacturers and learn about their respective industries, TPE has made a reputation for itself by being one of the few trade shows that incorporates multiple product categories, including tobacco, vapor and alternative.

TPE 2020 is set to be bigger and better than any of its predecessors. This year’s trade show will feature an even bigger trade show floor, as well as a 40 percent increase in exhibitors compared to the 2019 show. Answering the call of many attendees of past shows, TPE 2020 will feature an increased presence of premium tobacco manufacturers, including a wider array of mid-range to smaller boutique cigar companies and pipe tobacco companies. In addition to exhibitors, Tobacco Media Group (TMG), the publisher of Tobacco Business magazine, has revamped TPE’s educational conference to include sessions that touch on many of the topics featured in the pages of its magazine as well as in its weekly e-newsletters. This year’s sessions will cover topics ranging from premium tobacco and an inside look at the vapor industry to an introduction to cannabidiol (CBD) products and the emerging cannabis industry. Adding to the show’s rich educational content will be sessions led by some of the industry’s leading professionals and organizations, including the National Association of Tobacco Outlets (NATO), Cigar Rights of America (CRA), the Premium Cigar Association (PCA) and the Cigar Association of America (CAA).

“TPE is where you want to be if you want first access to show-exclusive new product releases, first-class education and fun networking events,” says Ben Stimpson, the managing director of TMG. “This year’s show will be one for the record books, and if you aren’t there, you’ll definitely miss out on something special.”
