In a time where many retailers and local businesses are facing hard times due to the coronavirus, manufacturers like Nat Sherman International are stepping up to help however they can. Nat Sherman International rolled out a care package for retailers that are still operating during the challenges set forth by the coronavirus.
These care packages ship to Nat Sherman International’s business partners and consist of 25 boxes of matches, 50 resealable bags, 25 pillow sleeves, 25 Metropolitan-branded cutters, and 25 shopping bags. The care packages were designed to offer support to retailers through necessary tools and supplies they may need while offering their customers curbside or contact-free retail services during the coronavirus. According to a report from Cigar Aficionado, Nat Sherman International plans to ship out these care packages twice a week.
In addition to the care package program, Nat Sherman International also has a new release for those tobacconists that are part of the Tobacconists’ Association of American (TAA). The Timeless 2020 TAA Limited Edition is a described as an all Nicaraguan cigar that’s made in collaboration with the Plasencia family from their factory in Esteli, Nicaragua. The cigar is offered in just one vitola–6 x 50-and features Jalapa-grown filler and binder tobaccos. These cigars will come in 10-count bundles limited to a 650 bundle production run. This cigar is a bit of departure from other Nat Sherman cigars as it has a darker, black and gray branding. The cigar will retail for $120 per bundle, or $12 per cigar.
