Gurkha Cigars to Launch Three New Lines at IPCPR 2019

Gurkha’s Nicaragua Series is a special edition cigar that is made by Aganorsa Leaf in Nicaragua.  The cigar will be available by invitation only to Gurkha’s top retailers who will only be allowed to buy five boxes per size per store. The Nicaraguan puro is a medium- to full-bodied smoke that features an Aganorsa Leaf Corojo ’99 Claro wrapper, a double binder of Aganorsa Leaf Corojo ’99 tobaccos and a filler blend of Aganorsa Leaf Corojo ’99 and Criollo ’98 tobaccos. The cigars will be available in 20-count boxes. Gurkha’s Nicaraguan Series cigars will be available in four sizes: Robusto (5 x 52), Toro (6 x 54), Magnum (6 x 60) and Belicoso (6 1/8 x 52).

In addition to the three new lines Gurkha Cigars will introduce at this year’s IPCPR Show, the company also plans to add new sizes to several of its existing lines. The company will add a Magnum (6 x 60) to its Marquesa line. It’s Cellar Reserve 12 Year line will gain two new sizes: Robusto (5 x 52) and Toro (6 x 54). A Robusto (5 x 52) and Toro (6 x 54) will be added to its Cellar Reserve 15 Year cigar line. Gurkha’s Grand Reserve Cognac-infused cigars, the Bourbon Collection bourbon-infused cigars and the Private Select rum-infused cigars will all have the Corona (5 x 42) size added to their respective lines. All of these additional cigars are expected to be available to ship by August.
