All Saints debuted with the release of Solamente, a limited edition cigar that they released on Nov. 1—All Saints Day—and shipped beginning in early December. Solamente is made from an Ecuadorean Habano wrapper and Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos and is limited to just 500 20-count boxes and rolled in just one size: 5 x 58. “It is a well-balanced, medium-bodied smoke with flavors of rich cedar and leather,” Pegg explains.
All Saints Cigars’ first regular production cigar, Dedicacion, will start shipping to retailers on March 17—St. Patrick’s Day. Dedicacion is made from a San Andres Mexican Maduro wrapper and Nicaraguan binder and filler tobaccos. It will be packaged in 20-count boxes and will be available in four sizes, each named for a significant person in Pegg’s life: Berkey (5 1/2 x 50), Commandant (6 1/2 x 52), Huge (6 x 60) and Coach (7 x 48).
“Dedicacion is for every meaningful person in my life,” Pegg says. “From those working in the fincas to the families they support. And for the families in the States that support those guys that are on the road four or five days a week. It’s also for my mentors along the way, like David Berkebile, Walter Gorski, George Brightman and, of course, Cano Ozgener (the late founder of CAO). And for others who inspired me to follow my dream like my wife, Kimmy, along with Mike Condor, Jon Huber,and Pedro Wagner. All the people that have encouraged me and helped to get me to where I am now. It all feels to me very saintly.”
