This new organizational structure will allow Ventura Cigar Company to shift to a direct-to-retail model, servicing premium tobacconists. The company is reportedly constructing a sales team that will be dedicated to offering its products to the premium tobacconist channel and these efforts will be headed up by Barry Bennett, Ventura Cigar Company’s national sales manager. The company will also utilize Phillips & King’s large distribution network to help sell its brands to its customer base, along with over 12,000 other products the company has in its portfolio.
