With the passing of this bill, those retailers that sell e-cigarettes online must now abide by strict age verification requirements. All packages containing ENDS products must be marked in a way to show that they contain tobacco and nicotine products and an adult with proper identification must be present to sign for and accept any packages containing ENDS products.

The only exceptions to these new rules including noncommercial shipments made by individual adults and shipments between businesses that are approved by the Pricing and Classification Service Center (PCSC). Shipments within the states of Alaska or Hawaii are also exempt. Adults can make non-commercial shipments as long as they don’t exceed 10 shipments in a 30-day period.
