TAAT Global Alternatives has officially acquired a tobacco distributor based in Ohio in a strategic business move made to align its operational practices with leading firms in the USD $812 billion global tobacco industry.
The deal to acquire Ohio-based HLND Holdings, Inc. was first announced by TAAT in an April 21, 2022 press release. HLND is the parent company of ADCO Distributors, a tobacco distributor based in Canton, Ohio that was established in 1960 and currently has access to a substantial network of retailers throughout the state through direct and indirect relationships. TAAT announced that it had successfully closed its acquisition of HLND Holdings, Inc. on May 20, 2022.
