La Palina Cigars Number Series

La Palina will unveil its latest cigar, Number Series, at the 2017 International Premium Cigar & Pipe Retailer (IPCPR) convention and international trade show in Las Vegas, July 10-14, 2017.

Number Series will deviate a bit from La Palina’s previous box and band design, taking cues from modern graphic designer Paul Rand as it adapts a much more colorful and bold design aesthetic. Rand designed the logos for companies include UPS and IBM and is known for his Swiss-style of design that emphasizes readability while also playing with an overall asymmetric, clean design.

Number Series will be a Honduran cigar consisting of two blends–LP #1 and LP #2. Both will come in four vitolas and have the same price. Both also use Costa Rican-grown tobacco, something that’s not very common in the industry. Number Series will be produced at Nestor Plasencia’s El Paraiso factory in Honduras.

Number Series LP #1 details:
Wrapper: Ecuadoran Sumatra
Binder: Costa Rica
Filler: Nicaraguan and Honduran
Vitolas: Petit Corona (4 1/2 x 44), Robusto (5 1/2 x 50), Toro (6 1/2 x 52), Gordo (6 x 60)
