With the help of Rick Rodriguez, CAO’s blender and brand ambassador, and CAO’s blending team, a new blend was created around this unique tobacco. In a nod to CAO’s Amazon Basin, Brazilian Braganca was included and Honduran and Nicaraguan tobaccos were blended in to bring a deeper spice and salty dimension to the smoke. To achieve a solid burn, a Cameroon binder was chosen and the blend was wrapped in a Honduran Colorado wrapper to craft a cigar with notes of leather, roasted coffee and black pepper.
CAO Fuma Em Corda is part of a trilogy of Brazilian tobacco releases from CAO. The first was CAO’s Amazon Basin and the final release has yet to be revealed.
