“We are a part of the next generation of the premium cigar business,” Bradley added. “Ernesto is a legend and we are humbled to be able to work with him.”
With Perez-Carrillo’s guidance, the brothers set out to create a new cigar that was different from anything in the Alec Bradley portfolio. Alec & Bradley Gatekeeper’s blend features an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, Nicaraguan binder, and premium filler tobaccos from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. This cigar is rolled at Perez-Carrillo’s Santiago, Dominican Republic-based Tabacalera La Alianza. Gatekeeper is Alec & Bradley’s first regular production and it will be released globally in the following formats: Corona (5 2/8 x 42), Robusto (5 x 50), Toro (6 x 52), and Gorda (6 x 60). MSRP will range from $8.75 to $12.25.
