Warped Cigars is beating many companies to the punch in terms of revealing planned releases for this year’s International Premium Cigar & Pipe Retailers (IPCPR) trade show this July. Moon Garden is a cigar that will use medio tiempo, which is a small tobacco leaf that grows infrequently on tobacco plants on top of the ligero priming. These leaves are rare and pack a punch when it comes to the strength and intensity of a cigar.
Moon Garden will measure 7 x 40. It’s a Nicaraguan puro cigar featuring a Nicaraguan Corojo 1999 wrapper, Nicaraguan binder and filler composed of Corojo 1999 and Criollo 1998 tobacco. The medio tiempo will be used within the cigar’s filler. This is the first time Warped’s brand owner Kyle Gellis will use medio tiempo in a lancero format. Previously, Gellis used medio tiempo in Warped’s Maestro del Tiempo 6102R and Flor Del Valle Sky Flower.
