At this year’s International Premium Cigar & Pipe Retailers Association (IPCPR) trade show and convention in Las Vegas, Royal Agio Cigars USA will be introducing a new cigar to the market–the San Pedro de Macorís. This handmade cigar was crafted to deliver cigar enthusiasts with a great quality cigar at an accessible, everyday price. The San Pedro de Macorís will be available in two distinct blends–Ecuador and Brazil.
“We set out to craft a uniquely sophisticated, everyday premium cigar, one that would exceed cigar smoker expectations and rewrite the rules on the level of quality and distinctiveness one could expect at a reasonable price. It was a tremendous challenge, as expected, requiring years of development with high-grade premium tobaccos to create these final blends,” commented Jaime Florez-Estrada, Royal Agio Cigars USA’s vice president of marketing.
This cigar was named after the Dominican Republic town of San Pedro de Macorís, which is also the location of Royal Agio’s handmade cigar factory. Each cigar is blended with a high-grade wrapper and binder, and incorporates original Cuban seed Piloto Ligero tobacco filler, ensuring a complex and distinct premium cigar smoking experience.
