Les Mann, a cigar industry veteran known for his tenure at Colibri, has a new job. It was recently announced that Mann would be joining Quality Importers Trading Co., a company that’s been expanding its portfolio of cigar accessories like it’s most recent acquisition of Xikar [read more here]. Mann will be taking on the role of executive vice president of sales at the company.
Mann has previously worked with companies like S.T. Dupont and Colibri, both known for their strong brands. He brings with him to the position experience not only growing brands but working with other businesses and on the trade side on the industry.
“Quality Importers has also demonstrated a keen understanding of the significance of brand building, and I am excited to provide my knowledge and experience in helping Quality Importers execute its mission,” Mann said in a recent press release. “Given the professional and personal relationships I have developed with industry retailers, manufacturers, media and consumers, it was very important for me, personally, that I remain in the trade as part of the next chapter in my life.”
Mann is replacing David Frazier, who served as the vice president of sales and marketing at Xikar. Growing Xikar will be among Mann’s responsibilities at Quality Importers.
