In a press release, Veritas Cigars’ Chris Weber has announced he is transferring the U.S. operations portion of his business to Jason Lois, who will serve as the company’s CEO.
Lois’ responsibilities will include growing Veritas’ business in the mid-Atlantic region while also working toward finding a person to work that region in the longterm. In addition, Lois will oversee Veritas’ U.S. operations, branding, event coordination, brand creation and more. Lois has experience in the cigar industry, having served in different roles and positions including working as a cigar broker, retailer, sales representative, and being the former face of Crossfire Cigars.
“Bringing Lois on allows me to concentrate on production in the factory to ensure our products are hitting the market both efficiently and meeting demands,” Weber commented. “Jason also brings a certain swagger to the table that I really enjoy. Together we will both allow something special to occur in the creative and production process and let Lois do what he does best out on the road.”
