In March, Mombacho Cigars announced the departure of Claudio Sgroi, who served as the company’s master blender for nearly a decade. Sgroi indicated that he would be focusing his time and energy on his family and other professional ventures. He continues to serve in his role as the president of the Nicaraguan Tobacco Chamber (CNT) and is working on expanding his global reach in the industry through new partnerships with leading and up-and-coming brands.
