Triple Play for E-Luminate
Through its subsidiary company, E-Vapor LLC, Inter-Continental Trading USA Inc.
has launched a new brand of electronic cigarettes. Now available nationwide: a
disposable, a rechargeable and a rechargeable/refillable electronic cigarette. All
three lines are pre-packed in CDUs, allowing convenient POS product placement
on a shelf or countertop.
“We are very excited to be introducing these three new products to the e-ciga-
rette market,” says Shargio Patel, president of Inter-Continental Trading, who says
that each E-Luminate disposable electronic cigarette provides up to 600 puffs—the
same number as in two-and-a-half packs of traditional cigarettes—with no flame,
tar or ash. The e-cigarettes are available with soft tips in traditional cigarette fla-
vors: Red, Gold, Silver, Menthol and Menthol Gold, and were designed in strengths
that serve both those looking to replace traditional cigarettes as well as those look-
ing to use the e-cig to quit smoking.
E-Luminate rechargeable electronic cigarettes last up to 400 puffs, equivalent
to two packs of traditional cigarettes. The four-piece starter kit includes two car-
tridges, a USB charger and a permanent electronic cigarette. Replacement car-
tridges are available in packs of five to save costs and to add convenience for the
consumer.
The refillable/rechargeable E-Luminate model has a four-piece starter kit that
includes a permanent electronic cigarette, a USB charger and two flavor tanks,
one being a bonus piece. Available in two nicotine strengths and in 44 traditional
as well as unique flavors, the product is designed to allow the user the option to
change the flavor of their cigarette with the convenient, refillable tank. One-ounce
e-liquid bottles are available separately and are packaged in attractive display car-
tons. Inter-Continental Trading USA, 800-595-0795,

“Lancero Limitado”
Now Shipping
Ocean State Cigars’ new Lancero Limitado
shape (7-1/2”x41) is once again available
for shipment to retailers. The boutique pre-
mium cigar planned to debut and ship to
retailers at IPCPR time, but suffered delays
at Fabrica de Tabacos Raices Cubanas, the
Honduran manufacturer. “The factory is
suffocating under success, having been
swamped with orders,” explains Paul
Joyal, Ocean State Cigars’ founder. “The
good news is that they’re catching up with
demand. Our present cigars are now flow-
ing, with a new J. Grotto cigar set to be an-
nounced soon.”
The Lancero Limitado parejo joins the
four existing shapes in the J. Grotto Re-
serve line, and shares the same blend.
The filler is Honduran-grown ligero and
Nicaraguan-grown Jalapa, while the binder
and wrapper are Honduran-grown Criollo.
The cigars are entubado-bunched, and
the heads have a traditional Cuban pigtail.
Joyal reports the new shape promises to
be the company’s signature cigar. “Sam-
pling this initial shipment,” he says, “has
shown them to be incredibly rich and com-
plex, more so than any of our other cigars.
Their power underpins their equally full
flavor profile, and doesn’t intrude or over-
whelm the palate. For the connoisseur, the
predominant flavors are toast, earthiness
and chocolate, with an abundance of more
subtle notes.”
With a very limited production of only
1,000 cigars, the Lancero Limitado is ex-
clusively for events hosted by J. Grotto
retailers. Only four boxes of ten cigars are
available per event. Their manufacturer’s
suggested retail price is $7.95. Ocean State
