Hondureña Opens Stateside
Well-established throughout Europe and the rest of the world with a sales volume
in excess of two million cigars per year, Compañia Hondureña de Tabacos brings
its premium cigars stateside with the opening of Kuuts Distribution Center, a state-
of-the-art distribution center in Southeast Florida. With more than 15 years of
experience and a new factory in Danli, Honduras capable of making over six million
cigars per year, the company is set to distribute three hand-made premium brands
in the United States: Placeres Reserva, Miró and Tabacalera Zapata. All three feature
100 percent long filler tobacco and are offered in a range of vitolas.
Placeres Reserva is a box pressed product available in five vitolas featuring a
Habano wrapper grown in Nicaragua, a binder from Costa Rica and a filler blend
from Honduras and Nicaragua.
Miró is available in four vitolas and features a Sumatra wrapper with a filler blend
from Nicaragua and Honduras. Tabacalera Zapata, which gets its name from one of
the company’s founders, Ramon Zapata Perez, is medium-bodied and finished with
a Connecticut Oscuro wrapper and a Nicaraguan binder. Its fillers consist of aged
tobacco from Nicaragua, Honduras and Jaltepec.
“We believe we have a great portfolio of products for our initial offering in the

White Cloud’s Cin Flavor
White Cloud Electronic Cigarettes has announced a new cinnamon flavor for its
“Fling” product line of disposable electronic cigarettes. The new flavor, “Cin,” marks
the first of many flavors from White Cloud Electronic Cigarettes to be made in
the U.S. The initiative to switch all current products to U.S. shores will continue
throughout the year. Currently available in light, full and extra strengths of nicotine,
the Cin flavor will soon be offered in replacement cartridges for the company’s
rechargeable line of electronic cigarettes. The Fling disposable cigarette products
serve as a cost effective, non-committal way for first time users to experience
electronic cigarettes, with each Fling having a lifespan equal to two packs of tobacco
