SA Liquid Nicotine says
that it is ready to mass-
produce pure liquid nicotine
extracted from tobacco grown in
the southeastern United States and
produced in Albany, Georgia. Formed
as a venture between Kentucky Liquid
Nicotine and National Nicotine, USA
Liquid Nicotine is looking to become
a premium supplier of U.S.-extracted
nicotine to the growing vapor industry.
“We formed Kentucky Liquid
Nicotine to try to start extracting
nicotine from tobacco grown in
Kentucky, but we couldn’t find
the right partners,” explains co-
founder Brian Furnish, who hails
from an eighth-generation tobacco
growing family, and is president
of International Tobacco Trading
Group, which sources tobacco from
growers. “Then we met with people in
Georgia who had the scientific ability
and equipment to do that. We have
experience in growing tobacco and
in sales and distribution of tobacco
products, so we teamed up to create a
company called USA Liquid Nicotine.
Now we each get to do what we are
good at.”
Furnish acknowledges that his
company’s product will probably
be more expensive than those of
overseas competitors’, but hopes that
manufacturers and retailers alike will
be willing to pay more for a domestic
