Punch is celebrating the Year of the Rabbit with a new limited-edition release called Spring Roll. This will be the fifth release within Punch’s Chinese New Year Series that has included Fu Manchu (2022), Kung Pow! (2021), Chop Suey (2020), and Egg Roll (2019).

Punch Spring Roll is handcrafted at the HATSA factory located in Danlí, Honduras. The blend for this cigar includes tobaccos from five countries including filler tobaccos from the Dominican Republic, Colombia, Mexico and the U.S. It also has a U.S.-grown Broadleaf binder and an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper. According to General Cigar Co., Spring Roll is richly spiced with notes of leather and has a natural sweetness that comes from the cigar’s Ecuadoran-grown wrapper. It will have Punch’s signature shaggy foot and will be available in 25-count “takeout” boxes inspired by the packaging of Punch Egg Roll, the cigar that launched the Chinese New Year series.

“Punch Spring Roll is like a three-course meal: It delivers a great smoking experience in a size that really brings the blend to life, and it comes at a price point that hits the post-holiday sweet spot for cigar lovers. Paying homage to the original, Spring Roll is the yin to Egg Roll’s yang. Since the Year of the Rabbit is said to bring good fortune, we invite Punch fans to kick back and let the good times Spring Roll,” states John Hakim, Punch’s brand manager.

Punch Spring roll will be limited to just 5,000 boxes released in total. It will be available in a 4 1/2 x 50 size with each cigar having a suggested retail price of $5.99. It will begin shipping on Feb. 1, 2023.
