Mombacho Cigars has a new released planned for this year’s International Premium Cigar & Pipe Retailer (IPCPR) trade show in Las Vegas, beginning on July 11, 2017. The new Cosecha 2012 will be featured in Mombacho’s booth (Booth #455) at this year’s show.
Cosecha is Spanish for “harvest or agricultural yield.” Cosecha 2012 features Nicaraguan tobaccos harvested from a 2012 crop. It’s a limited edition that evokes the “vintage” concept in the wine world: picking high-quality fruits from a specific year, and a particular harvest or crop.
In a press release, Mombacho Cigars’ President and Master Blender, Claudia Sgroi, commented: “This is a project of historic magnitude, not only for Mombacho Cigars, S.A., but for the whole cigar industry. This project has been five years in the making and we are proud to launch Cosecha 2012 at the IPCPR 2017. Through a complex process, we will highlight the best of Nicaraguan tobacco crops every year starting with 2012. Not all tobaccos are acceptable for this line; this is a true vintage.”
