Arango Cigar Co. introduces the latest series of freehand pipes from Erik Nording,
“
Royal Flush,” in five styles and finishes, with fully interchangeable mouthpieces.
The distinctive collection features the legendary artistry and quality of the Danish
master carver.
“
Since we became the exclusive U.S. importer and distributor of Nording
pipes in 2008, the line has grown steadily in popularity and acclaim with U.S. pipe
smokers and collectors,” says Michael Gold, Arango’s president. “The Royal Flush
series should prove equally desirable, due to the unique features Nording has
incorporated into them.”
The five pipes that comprise Royal Flush, not surprisingly, are named Jack,
Queen, King, Ace and top-of-the-line Joker. The entry-level Jack and the Queen
are hand-rusticated. Moving upward, the King, Ace and Joker have progressively
finer selections of briar. The Joker is crafted with a lighter colored wood to draw
attention to the beauty of the grain.
Nording designed the pipes with a unique feature—interchangeable
mouthpieces, which the smoker can easily detach and fit to all Royal Flush models.
The bits are handsome and durable Lucite, and come in several shapes and colors.
The consumer can also order extra mouthpieces as desired, to change the look
and feel of the pipe.
Suggested retail prices for the Royal Flush begin with the Jack ($93), followed
by the Queen ($108), King ($144), Ace ($192) and Joker ($238). Each additional
