What are your goals for your company
in the coming year? What challenges
do you see ahead?
We plan to launch another three
or four microstores in 2013, while
working to further improve the offering
and grow the profitability of existing
stores. Our main challenges are how to
prioritize and how to find and recruit
excellent people, as we keep growing.
Also, as far as ItalianSmokes goes, a
mounting concern is the possibility of
harsh anti-cigar regulation from [the]
FDA or other government agencies.
As I mentioned, I am all for small
government and free markets, but that’s
clearly not where the U.S. is going, at
least in the near future.

We are honored to be able to work
with some of Italy’s best craftsman
and companies, to bring their products
