James Young Departs Oettinger Davidoff AG, Successor Named

Luc Hyvernat to succeed James Young at Oettinger Davidoff AG

Oettinger Davidoff AG, a manufacturer of premium cigars, has announced the departure of longtime industry vet James Young after nearly a decade with the company. Young officially departed the company in January 2021 and has been succeeded by Luc Hyvernat, who now holds the title of senior Vice President chief commercial officer. Hyvernat’s official start date is March 1, 2021.

Previous to joining Oettinger Davidoff AG’s team, Hyvernat served as the international director of Champagne Nicolas Feuillatte, where he helped transform the company’s portfolio and structures and developed a sustainable international business. Hyvernat brings 29 years of sound commercial experience in international market development of which he spent 27 years in leading positions in the tobacco industry with companies including Imperial Tobacco, Altadis and Seita.
