General Cigar Company enters new territory with its iconic Macanudo brand as it releases Macanudo M, the brand’s first flavor-infused cigar.
Macanudo M is described as a rich, aromatic cigar that features nuances of single origin coffee and tobacco.
Steve Abbot, Macanudo’s senior brand manager, commented: “With M, we’re once again launching a cigar that defies the conventional notions of what the brand represents. This is not your typical flavored cigar. M smokes like a premium Nicaraguan cigar, and the experience is enhanced with just the right amount of coffee flavor. We’re sure that M will be a fast favorite among Macanudo smokers, as it will be for any premium cigar smoker looking to up their game with a dynamic and flavorful smoke.”
Macanudo M features a silky Indonesian Besuki wrapper and a binder from the Philippines. This medium-bodied cigar also features Nicaraguan and other fine, hand-selected cigars. Macanudo M comes in three vitolas: Corona (6 x 44), Toro (6 x 50), and Belicoso (6 x 54). Aficionados can expect a smoke with notes of cedar, earth and spice intertwined with hints of gourmet coffee that combine to create an overall creamy smoke comparable to a café con leche.
Macanudo M made its debut during this year’s International Premium Cigar & Pipe Retailers Association (IPCPR) and is now available for retailers.
