Evelio, a popular Dominican cigar brand known for its pleasant mellow profile, is returning to store shelves this summer. Handcrafted in the Dominican Republic at the MATASA factory, Evelio’s blend consists of a Dominican binder and Dominican long fillers and is wrapped in a golden Connecticut leaf grown in Ecuador. This cigar is finished with a slightly-sweet cap that enhances the overall smoking experience by delivering the cigar smoker with an enjoyable hint of sweetness that continues as the cigar progresses.
“Evelio is the ultimate, anytime cigar,” states Kevin Irvine, product coordinator of Scandinavian Tobacco Group’s (STG) online and retail deivision. “The smooth-smoking blend goes just as well with a morning cup of coffee or afternoon stroll as it does with unwinding at the end of a day. Evelio sits right in the sweet spot, too, no pun intended, of the price range for handmade, sweet-tipped smokes, delivering a lot of value for the money.”
Evelio comes in four different sizes: Corona (6 x 43), Robusto (5 x 50), Toro (6 x 50), and Churchill (7 x 48). Each size will come packaged in 20-count boxes and will have a suggested retail price that ranges from $4.75 to $5.50 per cigar.
Evelio is available now to retailers and is distributed by Meier & Dutch Wholesale Cigar Distributors.
