ARISTA Harvest, which will have a yellow-gold color scheme, is described as a medium-bodied blend that has a supple, top-grade Sumatra wrapper, a flavorful Habano Seco binder, and a proprietary Dominican filler blend, setting it apart from anything Artista Cigars has ever released. These cigars come in 20-count boxes and will be available in two sizes: a box-pressed Robusto (5 x 54) and a box-pressed Toro (6 x 50). ARTISA Harvest and ARTISTA Midnight are line priced: the MSRP per Robusto cigar is set at $10.20 while the Toro’s MSRP per cigar will be set at $10.40.
Both the ARITSA Harvest and ARITSA Midnight will be on display and available for pre-order during this year’s Premium Cigar Association (PCA) trade show in Las Vegas. The ARTISTA Series will be available to North American, European, Norwegian and Swedish retailers beginning Fall 2022.
Artista Studio Works, an outlet for creative or one-off releases, will also have new releases, beginning with Artista Studio Works (ASW) Paperboy. ASW Paperboy is a newspaper-wrapped bundle of 8 Petite Coronas. The newspaper bundle wrap features “wild stories of factory folklore and totally ‘fake news’ stories completely in Spanish,” the company states in a press release.
“Up to now we have used Artista Studio Works to showcase Dominican Artists with cool cigar-inspired artworks and goods such as humidors and wall art. We still plan to do that, however going forward we will also utilize Artista Studio Works as a place to show off our weird side,” states Ram Rodriguez.
“Paperboy is a throw-back to a time when we got our news delivered to our doorstep every day, and in some places, twice on Sunday. It’s a brand of nostalgia and it’s fun,” adds Newman.
ASW Paperboy will be offered in just one size, a 4 x 44 Petite Corona and will be available in two wrappers: Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade and San Andres Maduro. The binder and filler in both cigars will be the same. MSRP is set at $24.50 for each 8-count bundle. ASW Paperboy will be available for preorder at PCA 2022 and will begin shipping to retailers the first week of August 2022.
