Drew Estate Announce Updates for Liga Privada LineIf you’re a fan of Drew Estate’s Liga Privada line, you have something to look forward to this summer. Drew Estate has announced that its Corona Viva, Short Panatela and Pete Corona vitola extensions for its Liga Privada No. 9 and T52 lines in addition to the Unico Serie Nasty Fritas. These new cigars will be available for the company’s Drew Diplomat Retailers and on display during this year’s International Premium Cigar & Pipe Retailers Association (IPCPR) international trade show and convention.

“We have been vibing on the Nasty Fritas at Cigar Safari. When the Diplomat App came out, the Papas Fritas quickly became a fan favorite with ‘Papas Fritas Tuesdays’ and the Lit Mafia. I was telling a group at Safari about Nacatahuevos, which is my creation of Nacatamale with 2 over easy eggs on top. The group was like that’s the Esteliano version of getting nasty on some French fries. We’ve been enjoying it mostly at Cigar Safari in Nicaragua, but its time to get mega nasty with our homies,” explained Jonathan Drew, president and founder of Drew Estate.

The Liga Privada No. 9, T52 Corona Viva, Short Panatela and Petit Corona will now be the core sizes of the No. 9 and T52 lines. These cigars feature the Liga Connecticut River Valley Broadleaf and Stalk Cut Habano blends, with plantation-grown Brazilian Mata Fina binders and Nicaraguan and Honduran fillers.

The following ring gauges will be available: Liga Privada No. 9 Corona Viva (178 mm x 46 parejo), Liga Privada No. 9 Short Panatela (114 mm x 46 parej), Liga Privada No. 9 Petit Corona (108 mm x 46 parejo), Liga Privada T52 Corona Viva (178 mm x 46 parejo), Liga Privada T52 Short Panatela (114 mm x 46 parejo), Liga Privada T52 Petit Corona (108 mm x 46 parejo), Liga Privada Unico Serie Nasty Fritas (101 mm x 52 conical).

In addition, Drew Estate is announcing the national release of the Nasty Fritas has a Connecticut Broadleaf Oscuro wrapper and plantation grown Brazilian Mata Fina, and has Nicaraguan and Honduran fillers. Similar to Drew Estate’s Papas Fritas, Nasty Fritas filler tobacco uses leftover tobacco leaves that are short cut through the manufacture of Liga Privada No. 9 and Liga Privada T52 cigars.
