Oettinger Davidoff, a leading maker of handmade premium cigars, has announced the winners of its 2021 Davidoff Golden Band Awards. Due to the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, Davidoff will not hold one global, unifying Golden Band Awards ceremony as it had originally planned to. Instead, the company will celebrate the winners of this year’s awards locally through hosted festive dinner celebrations for the winning retail teams this November.
In a press release, Oettinger Davidoff CEO Beat Hauenstein commented: “The Davidoff Golden Band Awards are the most important recognition of our company to recognize the amazing efforts and achievements of our key partners around the globe that drive our joint success of the Davidoff brand. We are very proud and pleased to announce the winners of our Golden Band Awards 2021 today, and we look forward to celebrating the best of the best from our global Davidoff family of retailers, partners, appointed merchants and distributors at the Golden Band Awards events in their respective countries.”
Luc Hyvernant, senior Vice President chief commercial officer at Oettinger Davidoff, added: “It is thanks to the untiring dedication and passion of our retailers and partners that we can continue to grow our Davidoff footprint around the globe and delight and surprise our aficionados with unique brand, shopping and cigar experiences.”
