Crowned heads is rolling out a limited edition cigar, the Le Careme Belicosos Finos LE 2018. Dedicated to the Le Careme brand, this new cigar was inspired by the Belicosos Fino (5 1/2 x 52) vitola. The Belicosos Finos LE 2018 will be round rather than trunk-pressed like other cigars from the Le Careme line. This cigar will be manufactured at Tabacalera La Alianza, S.A., Santiago, Dominican Republic.
“Last year, Miguel Schoedel (Crowned Heads’ National Sales Manager) presented the concept to us,” said Crowned Heads co-founder, Jon Huber. “The Bolivar Belicosos Fino has always been one of my ‘desert-island’ cigars, so we began to work on the project with Ernesto (Perez-Carrillo), and the end result was very impressive. The vitola in the Le Careme blend added a whole next-level dimension of richness and flavor to an already exquisite blend.”
Le Careme Belicosos Finos LE 2018’s blend is comprised of a Sumatra binder from Ecuador, Nicaraguan filler tobaccos, and has a dark Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper. Only 1,500 (12-count) boxes will be made, consisting of 18,000 cigars. Each cigar will cost $10 and a box will retail for $120.
Shipping for Le Careme Belicosos Finos LE 2018 will begin in March 2018. For all the latest news from Crowned Heads, visit crownedheads.com.
