Black Works Studio (BLK WKS) is lifting the veil from its latest cigar, the Boondock Saint, a cigar that’s handcrafted in Estelí, Nicaragua at its Fabrica Oveja Negra.
“The Boondock Saint is a perfect example of a balanced cigar,” said James Brown, creator of Black Works Studio and partner at Fabrica Oveja Negra. “The profile is rich, complex and bold, with tons of subtle flavors. The cigar is both strong and refined, with a very elegant finish. The Pennsylvania Broadleaf wrapper combined with the Connecticut Broadleaf and Nicaraguan filler create flavors of anise, clove, dark fruits, bitter cocoa and earth. This blend highlights the many complexities in the broadleaf and Nicaraguan tobaccos used.”
Boondock Saint details:
Wrapper: Pennsylvania Broadleaf
Binder: Nicaraguan Habano
Filler: Nicaragua, Pennsylvania, Connecticut
Vitolas: Corona Larga (6 1/4 x 46), Robusto (5 1/4 x 50)
Boondock Saint will be available at a select number of Black Works Studio retailers for a short period of time in August 2017. This cigar will join other cigars in the Black Works Studio portfolio including Killer Bee, Green Hornet, NBK and Rorschach.
