Black Label Trading Company has announced the annual release of Santa Muerte. The 2019 release of this cigar is handcrafted in Estelí, Nicaragua, at Black Label Trading Company’s own factory in Fabrica Oveja Negra.
This year’s Santa Muerte will feature an Ecuador Habano wrapper and binder, and filler tobaccos from Nicaragua, Dominican Republic, Mexico and the U.S. The cigar will be presented in two different vitolas: 5 1/2 x 48 Corona Gorda and a 4 3/4 x 52 Short Robusto. MSRP per cigar is $10.
“We have gone out of the box with Santa Muerte. It features Broadleaf, San Andres, Dominican and Nicaraguan tobacco among the 6 filler tobaccos. You experience layer upon layer of coffee, malt, spice and cocoa. As the name suggests, there is a Day of the Dead tribute to honor those we have lost,” said James Brown, creator of Black Label Trading Company and partner at Fabrica Oveja Negra.
Santa Muerte has begun shipping to select retailers this week.
