Harvester & Co. Connecticut is a new premium cigar from Altadis U.S.A. that is set to make its debut at the Tobacco Plus Expo (TPE) 2020 trade show in Las Vegas, Jan. 29-31, 2020. The cigar pays homage to its double namesake–the famous 1880s horse that won numerous races in the sport of kings, sired many other winners, and returned winning many more times than its original purchase price and its roots, Connecticut seeds.
“We really put a lot of time and effort into creating the best cigar for the money, which any cigar smoker can appreciate,” said Dane Devereux, Brand Manager at Altadis U.S.A. “The well-aged Connecticut-seed wrapper gives the cigar a refined profile, while the Nicaraguan binder and filler provide enough complexity to keep the experience interesting.”
Harvester & Co. Connecticut is made by the Plasencia family in Nicaragua. The cigar features a Connecticut-seed wrapper and all Nicaraguan binder and filler. It will also be offered at an affordable price point, which the MSRP per cigar ranging from $5 to $5.75, depending on the vitola. Harvester & Co. Connecticut will be available in four different vitolas: Robusto (5 x 54), Toro (6 x 50), Churchill (7 x 50), and Magnum (6 x 60). Altadis U.S.A. also has plans to offer the cigar in additional wrapper variations in the future.
