Alec Bradley’s annual release of Fine & Rare is back for a sixth year. This ultra-premium limited edition cigar has featured different vitolas and blends over the years but has commonly been known to contain 10 different tobaccos.
The 2016 Alec Bradley Fine & Rare will be known as the Alec Bradley HJ10-1 and features 10 different tobaccos that have been aged 3-6 years. The filler is composed of 7 different tobaccos from Jalapa and Estelí, Nicaragua and Honduras’ Trojes region. It will be available in a toro size (6 x 52).
“The Alec Bradley Fine & Rare has been a holiday time release since its inception in 2011,” said Alan Rubin, president and owner of Alec Bradley. “After critical acclaim and popular demand, we felt that 2016 was the year to reintroduce the Alec Bradley Fine & Rare HJ10-I. Through the cigar is medium-to-full bodied, we blend for flavor, so it’s balanced, smooth and very approachable.”
The press release emphasized that this is a limited release intended for “smokers that both remember and love the cigar, as well as those who may not have had the opportunity to try it in the past.” A total of 2,000 boxes were produced of this special release with each cigar selling for $16.
