Gurkha Cigars is now shipping its special edition 15-year Cellar Reserve cigar to stores in the United States. The cigar commemorates Cellar Reserve’s 10-year anniversary. Cellar Reserve is the company’s first brick-and-mortar exclusive cigar and its most successful brand. The 10-Year Anniversary blend was introduced at the IPCPR 2017 in July.
“The Cellar Reserve has always been very well received and garners amazing ratings and this special edition is no different,” said Kaizad Hansotia, CEO of Gurkha Cigars. “Stores loved these cigars as will cigar lovers and we are excited to finally be able to make it available so Gurkha fans can enjoy it.”
The cigars are a special vitola and are rolled in a hand selected, rare wrapper. The medium body, full-flavor smoke is made with an Ecuadorean Rosado wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder and vintage Nicaraguan filler tobaccos from Jalapa, Condega and Estelí.
The cigars are housed in a limited edition 50-count humidor box and each box is individually numbered. Only a 1,000 of the 50-count boxes have been made and the MSRP before taxes is $700 per box or $14 per cigar.
