Drew Estate is exclusively launching the Undercrown Maduro and Herrera Estelí Cuadrado box pressed cigars at JR Cigar and Casa de Montecristo retail locations. The cigars are available now in 10-count soft packs.
Willy Herrera, Master Blender at Drew Estate, commented: “One of my favorite vitals I have blended at Drew Estate is the Norteño Lonsdale because of how the smoke hits your palate, so we re-worked the blend for Undercrown Maduro, in this box press format using my experience blending with Mexican San Andreas wrapper with the Norton. The Herrera Estelí Cuadrado shines in this size. Unlike my other exclusives which feature different blends of the Herrera Estelí, this one remains exactly the same as the original, just in the box-pressed Lonsdale format. It’s just damn good.”
The Undercrown Maduro Cuadrado comes in a 6 1/2 x 44 Lonsdale vitola and features a San Andres Mexican wrapper, a Connecticut River Valley Stalk cut and cured Sun Grown binder, filler from Brazil and Nicaragua. This cigar’s blend was developed on the factory floor using primings not used in the Liga Privada blends by the rollers of Liga Privada for their own smoking pleasures. MSRP is $74 per 10-count soft pack.
The Herrera Estelí Cuadrado is 6 1/2 x 44 Lonsdale that features a lush Ecuadorian habano wrapper with a Honduran habano binder and Nicaraguan fillers. The blend is Cubanesque taste that is exceptionally creamy with a great balance of spice and sweetness. MSRP is $105 per 10-count soft pack.
